McKean County Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit Christian housing organization that became an affiliate of Habitat For Humanity International on April 1st 2009. Habitat works in partnership with volunteers to build simple, decent, and affordable housing. The homes are then sold to partner families at no profit and no interest. Volunteers provide most of the labor while individuals, local businesses, religious organizations and private donors provide money and materials to build Habitat Homes. McKean County Habitat for Humanity is also affiliated with The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Habitat. |
